Kianna Sitarski specializes in health law. Kianna’s practice includes assisting pharmacies, hospitals, physicians, durable medical equipment companies, home health and hospice providers, and other healthcare providers on a variety of matters that impact the healthcare industry, including federal and state anti-kickback laws, Stark Law, and federal and state regulations. Kianna also assists healthcare providers in pending investigations by the Department of Justice and other regulators, including state boards of pharmacy and departments of health. Kianna has worked with pharmacies and other healthcare providers in responding to, and successfully refuting, audits and investigations conducted by PBMs and other payors. In her three years with the firm, she has worked closely with Brown & Fortunato’s transactional group to assist both buyers and sellers of healthcare companies to identify and comply with change of ownership processes and limitations imposed by the complex regulatory landscape.

Kianna grew up in The Woodlands, Texas and is an avid fan of Texas A&M football and Houston Astros baseball. Kianna is pleased to have her undergraduate and law degrees from Texas A&M University. While in law school, Kianna interned with the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Texas and worked in the Patent and Community Development Clinics.

In her spare time, Kianna enjoys golfing, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends
