Amanda Hobbs is a Senior Attorney at Brown & Fortunato and specializes in healthcare privacy matters (including HIPAA concerns), hospital work, licensing concerns for providers and facilities, and navigating Stark and Anti-Kickback statute issues in relationships between healthcare entities and providers. Prior to joining Brown & Fortunato, Amanda served as in-house counsel at a leading academic medical institution, managing the institution’s litigation and focusing on privacy, compliance, policy development, and telemedicine and telehealth issues. In addition, Amanda has almost a decade of experience in healthcare litigation, representing physicians and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits.

Amanda lives with her partner and pet parrot in Dallas, Texas. In her downtime, she enjoys gardening, reading, and dancing to live music in Dallas.
