Howard spoke at the Panhandle Human Resources Association chapter meeting on September 1, 2009.  His presentation was titled "What Every Employer Should Know About Twitter, MySpace, and Other Social Networking Sites: An Analysis of the Legal Risk and Reward For Employers in This New Age of Communication".

Denise M. Fletcher presented "HIPAA and the Red Flag Rules:  Recent Changes that Every Medical Provider’s Office Should Understand" on September 9, 2009 at the Medical Managers of Amarillo monthly meeting.

Jeffrey S. Baird spoke at the OmniSys Key Client Forum in Grapevine, Texas on September 29, 2009.  His topic of discussion was "Competitive Bidding, Marketing, Joint Ventures, Accreditation and Surety Bonds: Hot Button Issues Facing Pharmacies".

Richard F. Brown spoke on October 8, 2009 in Houston, Texas at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Oil, Gas and Energy Law Course. Mr. Brown's presentation is titled "Texas Case Law Update".

Matthew H. Hand spoke on written discovery at the Texas Association of Defense Council in Lubbock, Texas on October 9, 2009.

Jeffrey S. Baird presented "Compelling HME Legal Issues and Trends" at the MED Group National Competitive Bidding Workshop on October 11, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Jeffrey S. Baird, Denise M. Fletcher, Lisa K. Smith and Clay Stribling spoke at the 2009 Medtrade Continuum of Care Conference presented by AAHomeCare on October 12, 2009 in Atlanta GA.  Ms. Fletcher’s topic of discussion was “Documentation, Medical Necessity, Post-Delivery Obligations, Responding to Audits, Marketing and Other Anomalies:  Hot Button Legal Issues Facing Rehab Providers”.  Mr. Stribling’s presentation is titled "Joint Ventures, Contracts and Other Arrangements: The Types of Relationships that Can and Cannot be Entered into among HME Companies, Physicians, and Sleep Labs".  Mr. Baird will present “Post-Cap Oxygen Payment Rules, Home Oxygen Testing, Delivery Models, Quality Standards and Marketing: The Most Challenging Legal Issues Facing Oxygen Suppliers” with Ms. Smith.

Fletcher and Clay Stribling spoke at the 2009 Medtrade Conference and Exposition in Atlanta, Georgia.  Ms. Fletcher presented "Recovery Audit Contractors - The Newest Weapon in Medicare's Arsenal” on October 13, 2009.   Mr. Baird’s topics of discussion were “Marketing and Joint Ventures: Within Legal Guidelines You are Limited Only By Your Imagination” on October 13, “Dealing with the Crazy Aunt in the Attic:  Understanding and Successfully Navigating the Revised Competitive Bidding Rules” with Mark Higley on October 14 and “Post-Cap Oxygen Payment Rules: Understanding These Ill-Conceived Rules and Proactive Steps to Survive Under Them on October 15. On October 14, Ms. Fletcher presented "Crystal Ball Gazing: Regulatory Challenges Facing HME Suppliers in 2009-2010” and "The Pursuit of Medical Necessity Documentation: How to Capture the Elusive Paperwork that will Make or Break a Company".  "Changes to HIPAA: Understanding How They Impact HME Suppliers" was presented by Ms. Fletcher and Mr. Stribling on October 15. Mr. Stribling presented “Graduate School: Advanced Topics and Issues Related to National Supplier Clearinghouse Enforcement” on October 14 and “The Only Constant is Change: Managing Turmoil in the Sleep Market” on October 15.

Jeffrey S. Baird spoke on October 17, 2009 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention.  Mr. Baird's presentation was titled "How to Sell a Pharmacy".

Clay Stribling presented "Sleep is Big Business: Innovative Ways Within Legal Parameters to Succeed in the Sleep Market" for a Sleep Center Management Institute audio conference on November 16, 2009.

Clay Stribling spoke at the Kentucky Medical Equipment Suppliers Association's 2009 Fall Conference in Lexington, Kentucky on November 19, 2009.  His topic was "Legal Traps and Pitfalls".

Clay Stribling held a teleconference for AA Homecare on December 3, 2009.  His topic was "Change is Good...If it is Smart: How to Successfully Buy and Sell a Business".

Clay Stribling spoke at the Alabama Durable Medical Equipment Association 2010 Annual Meeting in Hoover, Alabama on January 6, 2010.  His topic was "Innovative Marketing and Creative Joint Ventures; Understanding Legal and Regulatory Provisions that Impact your Company's Marketing Plan."

Clay Stribling presented a "Tuesdays with Clay" teleconference series for the Association of Indiana Home Medical Equipment Services.  On January 26, 2010 his topic was "Beneficiary Marketing and Telephone Contact."   On February 9,  he presented "Consignment Closets and Joint Ventures: How to Successfully Market Without Violating Medical Guidelines".  On February 23, "Interacting with Physicians: How to Communicate regarding PECOS Payments and Other Difficult Topics." In March he presented "Chasing Enrollment: How to Avoid Complications when Corresponding and Communicating with National Supplier Clearinghouse" on March 9 and "Attention to Detail: Establishing Safeguards to Verify Compliance with Payment and Documentation Requirements."

Denise M. Fletcher presented "OIG Investigations: Planning for the Worst" on a Cardinal Health Webinar on February 2, 2010.

Jeffery S. Baird presented "Consignment Closets, PECOS, Calling a Patient in Response to a Physician's Order and Other Hot Button Issues" on The MED Groups WebX Conference on February 8, 2010.

Clay Stribling spoke at the All-Star Conference 2010 in San Antonio, Texas on February 25, 2010.  His topic of discussion was titled "Keeping Pace with Change: Understanding Consignment Closet Guidelines".

Jeffery S. Baird will speak on March 3, 2010 in Irvine, California at the California Association of Medical Products Suppliers Conference.  Mr. Baird's presentations will be titled "Cavalier" is a Four-Letter Work: How to Proactively Prepare for, and Respond to, a Post-Payment Audit." and "Reducing Your Dependence on Medicare: Innovative Steps to Take to Increase Revenue by Selling to Non-Medicare Patients."

Jeffery S. Clay Stribling will present "Billing and Collection 101: Best Practices for Commercial Reimbursement Success!" and "Innovative Marketing and Creative Joint Ventures" on April 15, 2010 at the National Home Infusion Association Annual Conference & Exposition in Dallas, Texas.

Jeffery S. Baird will present "Loan Closets, Marketing Programs, Joint Ventures and Other Arrangements: How to Innovatively (and Legally) Market to Customers and Work with Referral Sources" on April 16, 2010 at the Illinois Association of Medical Equipment Services Annual Education Conference and Expo in Lisle, Illinois.
